Name: Risk Age: 5 Gender: Stallion deity-or-Normal: Normal
Personality: It'd be lying to say he is selfless, he's quite the opposite of selfless actually. But he isn't entirely selfish either, he is just really confident. Some have called it God Syndrome before, a very accurate description. He thinks he is better than others it's true but he isn't completely un-noble, if there was someone in trouble he'd definately stroll on by and do nothing. His sarcasm is one of his defining characteristics, alongside his contradicting honesty. Brutally honest, he will tell it how it is if the situation is right, or rather, his mood. It doesn't matter what the situation is, serious or not he won't change his mood just to suit others. God Syndrome. Despite his apparent self-loving nature, he can love others. Like his family for example, he won't let anyone harm his sisters. Picking on them he can allow, but if he sees it getting too rough he'll step in playing the 'protective brother' figure and make sure the punk who upset them know where they really stand.
Likes: Mares, authority, strength Dislikes: cocky stallions, young colts, any type of wildcat Fears: Thunderstorms, wildcats Hopes: To have his own herd or band. Dreams: To claim his own territory
Appearance: His body frame is very large and muscular, with a well defined head and set of strong pillars with powerful weapons. These weapons are what he uses to punish those who get him annoyed; his body is large and strong enough to help him in battle and to dominate whoever he's fighting. His thick tail helps keep him balanced at all times and evens out his stance quite nicely. His harks are medium-sized and sit well on top of his head so that he is able to hone in on any sudden sound or movement in a matter of seconds. His pelt is a bright chestnut with a black muzzle. His emeralds are a dark mocha coloring almost black locking anybody in a trance. He has a deep voice that is both taunting and seductive at the same time.
Family connections: He occasionally runs into his sister at times.
History: Talking about his past is certainly not something Risk often does. He tries to forget about it as much as possible, and evade the topic whenever he is asked. Risk was the older of the three foals his mother, Eltsina, gave birth to. His mother was a lead female who valued appearance more than everything else, while his father was a dedicated down to earth leader. As young growing up in an upper ranked family, Risk and his two younger sisters, Raven and Fala, were taught at a very early age on how to keep up appearances. Since the head of the household was busy watching out for the herd, Eltsina assumed charge of the young. She tried to instill upon her kin that first impressions and the adoration of others were a lot more important than anything else. Looking good in front of the herd was all that Eltsina seemed to care about. While her superficial attitude fooled the herd, Risk, Raven, and Fala knew at a very early age that their parents’ marriage wasn’t bound to last. Their mother and father, after all, were probably about as polar opposites as could possibly be. Instead of complementing one another, however, they oftentimes got into big arguments regarding the slightest of things – things that swayed Risk,Raven, and Fala's support. While Elstina was strict and amazingly abhorrent of disobedience, Alessandro, their father, was a lot more relaxed and believed in, well, simply being true to one’s own self. The two dithering lovers often bickered about how to raise the foals, the father’s arguments of which Risk and Fala always supported. Raven, meanwhile, always refused to take sides and stood as the mediator. Surprisingly enough, Raven's impartiality and Fala's easy ways with agreement went along well with Risk's more aggressive and stubborn behavior, and all were very close to each other. When Risk was upset by an argument, Raven and Fala would always be the ones to calm him down. They were his sole confidante, the ones who made everything okay even when it really wasn’t. They supported him through thick and thin, and he loved his sisters to death. He loved his father, too. Though he didn't have a lot of time to spare with the foals and Risk clung to his sisters even more. Risk and Raven tended to do everything together while Fala seemed to be edging towards their mother's side. They were the perfect siblings, though their family itself fell apart; shortly afterwards, Eltsina and Alessandro left each other, shocking their herd into realizing their family, indeed, wasn’t as impeccable as they thought. Alessandro couldn’t deal with Eltsina anymore and, regardless of public opinion, left the herd early one morning. Eltsina, in fear of what the others would say, lied to their herd and put the blame on Alessandro. Risk hated her ever so much more for that. In a way, he blamed Eltsina for breaking the herd apart and pushing his father away. He never saw his father again. Raven, once more, consoled him during this time. She, in fact, seemed to console him in almost everything, as life without their father wasn't easy. Especially when a new alpha came into play and made Eltsina his mate as well.
Though Risk oftentimes disobeyed his new father’s rules and got punished for it, he managed to get through the day with help of Raven. Raven supported him while Fala fought with her 'parents' against them. He relied on Raven to keep his spirits high, and when she died during a stampede from a fatal kick to the skull, Risk was the most devastated one in the herd. His mother didn’t even seem to care as much – and if she did, it was only for show. Noting his mother’s indifferent behavior, Risk's dislike of her grew into pure loathing, channeling all his sorrow from his sister's sudden death to anger and rebellion. Risk took on a whole new personality after that. His mind and body were wrecked with grief and the desire for vendetta. Though he had and still has a quick temper, Risk would not fight if he could avoid it. Risk used this newfound personality to gain his revenge. No one in his herd lived to see another day after that because they had never expected Risk to turn on them. Eltsina could have seen it coming if she didn't have such faith and arrogance that she would win. Risk isn't the same stallion he used to be. He is strong, cocky and arrogant but he loves every minute of it. Putting his past behind him he strides forward to gain his new profound life, a life of his own...
